HAVE A NICE LIFE Union Theatre, Southwark This musical started life as a reading in Belfast under the name Group! It was called Group! because eight out of work friends decided to rent a small theatre for three nights and stage an all singing new work. The theatre was called the Group Theatre so i decided to write a show with the same name. What about? Well group can mean therapy so that was the show. It was writen in a week and sold out. That group of friends took their little show to Edinburgh and London. Group! became Have a Nice Life and the rest is history. This production is a delight to work on because although I have move on to bigger projects this musical always holds a special place in my heart. It was my first show and will probably always be my baby. Lord knows it's kept me up a few nights.
